Defensive Driving

Introduction

The Defensive /Preventive – Driving –Training Course is designed to improve Driving Skills and techniques to avoid accidents that are on the increase, daily on the roads
The are intended to improve one’s Protective Skills including Road Safety Awareness, Concentration and attitude and increase emergency control while driving .
These Road Safety Training sessions will provide an insight into Defensive Driving – a practice that goes beyond mastery of the rules of the road and the basic mechanics of driving.

Objective

The overall outcome of the Training module is designed to achieve the terms of the skills and knowledge that the trainees will be able to demonstrate upon completion of the Course.
The trainees will acquire Defensive Driving and vehicle handling skills in accident avoidance.
The trainees will be aware of their responsibility on the roads and gain knowledge to acquire skills to face new road risks and hazards in managing safe driving and professional driver operations.
The Course evaluation would be judged from their individual commentary driving results.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for the all light vehicle drivers and for those drivers whose profession requires extensive driving ( Light Vehicle ) and /or is provided with a company vehicle.

Methodology

This is a highly interactive training programme, whereby participants are to gain the learning points through experiential activities, Power point presentation, Questions and answer, Video presentation, Writing or oral participation, Group work or support / brainstorming, Demos and Practical sessions
