Autonomous Maintenance For Manufacturing Operations

RM800.00

Introduction

Maintenance is generally done by Equipment Technicians and Engineers, who mostly focus on the OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) of the machines. Many organizations fail to realize that an Operator can contribute or help on the improvement of the machine OEE. The reason being that these operators who can detect or observe the abnormalities (such as noise, vibrations, temperature, odour, etc) of the machine operation at an early stage.Whereby if these abnormalities is corrected at its early stage will prevents the deterioration of the machine thus reducing the COST and improving PRODUCTIVITY.If an operator were to be trained to detect the abnormalities and do minor repairs which will greatly help in improving OEE.

The program provides manufacturing personnel with the necessary Knowledge, Techniques and Skill competency in today’s complex, challenging and rapidly changing global economy

Objective

Upon completion of this programme, the participants will be able to :

  • Develop machine operators as the first line of defence against ‘Equipment Deterioration’ through Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication hence detecting the abnormalities and taking counter measures at an early stage.
  • Skill up the operator for basic technical know how and to enhance a mindset change.
  • Enhance & Energize the team synergy in the practices aimed at maximizing the machine effectiveness.

Who Should Attend

This program is suitable for Machine Operators, Technicians and Production Supervisors
Level for Managers and above

Methodology

This is a highly interactive training program, whereby participants are to gain the learning points through workshop activities and analysis techniques.

Module

  • UNDERSTANDING OPERATORS ROLE IN PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT
  • UNDERSTANDING THE MACHINES OPERATIONS AND TYPES OF LOSSES
  • UNDERSTANDING THE SAFETY ASPECT OF MACHINES
  • UNDERSTANDING OF BASIC TOOLS NEEDED TO DO MINOR REPAIRS
  • UNDERSTANDING THAT CLEANING (MACHINE) IS INSPECTION
  • UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS ABNORMALITIES :IE FORCED DETERIORATION, ABNORMAL SOUND,HEAT, VIBRATION, SMELL
