Best Practices In Industrial Hydraulic Troubleshooting Technology

RM1,500.00

Introduction

Facing similar problems?

  • No system pressure, where do you look?
  • Can you replace a pressure compensated pump with a gear pump?
  • What is an acceptable level of vacuum at the inlet of a pump?
  • Do you know what work needs to be done but can’t quite figure out the hydraulic application to do it?
  • Do you have new problems pop up or old, chronic problems that never go away?

Then this program is for you. So much more than the typical theory and information course, this program offers real world solutions to your real world hydraulic problems. In the course, you’ll learn to focus on the troubleshooting process and the inspection and testing tasks that are part of a systematic approach to locating malfunctions and their underlying causes.

Objective

Upon completion of this programme, the participants will be able to :

  • Create and match a variety of hydraulic applications to the work to be performed
  • Properly test and inspect hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose system versus component problems
  • Distinguish problem “symptoms” from the actual “cause”
  • Apply a common-sense, systematic approach to Troubleshooting
  • Evaluate the cause and effect of changing or re-sizing system components
  • Recommend and implement change towards fixing problems

Who Should Attend

This program is targeted for Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians, Team / Line Leaders, Manager and all those involved in the design, operation and maintenance of the Hydraulic Systems

Methodology

This stimulating program will maximizes the understanding and learning through lecture, discussion, case studies and practical activities

Module

  • INTRODUCTION TO HYDRAULIC TROUBLE SHOOTING
  • BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING REQUIREMENTS
  • UNDERSTANDING THE LEAKAGE PROBLEMS WHICH IS COMMON IN ANY APPLICATION
  • IDENTIFY POSSIBLE CAUSES OF NOISY PUMPS AND CAVITATION
  • IDENTIFY THE DO’S AND DON’TS DURING HYDRAULIC TROUBLE SHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE
  • IDENTIFY POSSIBLE CAUSES OF NO SYSTEM PRESSURE, LOW SYSTEM PRESSURE
  • IDENTIFY AND LINK TEMPERATURE PROBLEM TO SYSTEM RUNNING HOT
  • COMMON CYLINDER PROBLEMS, SOLENOID FAILURES AND CREATING OIL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
