Introduction:

A day program based on understanding the systematic approach to control and improvised organizational, health and safety performance. This program will contribute to the protection of employees from work hazards, injuries, ill health, diseases, near misses and fatalities. By attending this program, organizations are able to comply with legal requirements set out by the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1194 (Act 514), Factory and Machinery Act 1967 (Act 139) and Petroleum (Safety Measures) Act 1984 (Act 302) and their relevant regulations. This program allows participants to identify, utilize and understand their responsibility towards statutory regulations and requirements in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).

This program ensures that participants understand the overview of OSH and learn “what” causes accidents at the workplace, and learn to identify the root cause for incidents and accidents that occur at the job site. The program is based on the fundamentals of OSH with legislative requirement and learn to create safe system of work in organization. This program is relevant in creating awareness for themselves as well to create an organization par excellence with proactive employees, precise team work and an effective and cohesive work environment to lead in their respective industry. The program creates awareness amongst the participants on the needs to adhere to legal obligations and implement safety and health inspection audit requirements in their workplace
