Introduction:

In the event of a fire, individuals may panic or over-react. As such, early action should be taken to address the emergency. These actions need to be undertaken by a trained Emergency Response Team (ERT). The ERT is the first responder to the emergency while waiting for external emergency service providers such as Bomba to arrive at the scene. Management needs to ensure that the ERT is alert at all times for all types of emergencies.
